Three fallen defenders were awarded the title of “Honorary Citizen of Kalush Community.”
This was announced by Mayor Andriy Naidu, who noted that this recognition is an essential step in honoring the memory of the Heroes. The titles were awarded to:
Bohdan Fedorov;
Ihor Boichuk;
Timur Tychkovsky.
On August 28, 2024, at a regular session of the Kalush City Council, an important decision was made to award the title of “Honorary Citizen of the Kalush City Territorial Community” to three fallen defenders. This decision honored their courage, self-sacrifice, and contribution to the country’s defense.
All three defenders gave their lives during the fighting in the Donetsk sector. Ihor Boichuk was killed on August 2, 2024, Tymur Tychkovsky on August 16, and Bohdan Fedoriv on August 12. Their courage and heroism in combat will remain in the memory of the community.

The city council adopted this decision as a sign of deep gratitude and recognition of the merits of the fallen soldiers.
