Oleh Severin, a son of Sniatyn land, was killed in action in Sumy region on August 9. He was a soldier, a defender who did not hesitate to stand up for his country in the most difficult times for the country. Oleh was only 33 years old, but his heart stopped beating in the fight for Ukraine’s freedom and independence.

The city council has asked residents to show respect and gratitude to Oleh Severin by refraining from loud celebrations and commemorations and preferring modest and quiet events.
