Volodymyr Vistovskyi, a soldier from Dolyna, was killed

Volodymyr Vistovskyi, a soldier from Dolyna, a Carpathian, was killed in the Donetsk region while defending Ukraine.

This sad news was announced by the mayor of the Dolyna territorial community, Ivan Dyriv.

Volodymyr Vistovskyi, born on April 8, 1985, lived in Dolyna. He served as a machine gunner of the first rifle squad of the second rifle platoon of the first rifle company of the military unit A4220.

Sergeant Vistovskyi was killed on August 9 during a combat mission near the village of Vozdvyzhenka, Donetsk region.

“Volodymyr’s heroism and courage, which he demonstrated in the fight for freedom and independence of our country, is a true example of courage. He will remain in our hearts as a symbol of self-sacrifice and devotion,” said Ivan Dyriv, head of Dolyna, in a statement.

The date and time of the meeting of the deceased’s body will be announced later.
