Two people died as a result of drowning in Bystrytsia Solotvynska, Ivano-Frankivsk region

On August 12, two men were tragically killed in the Bystrytsia Solotvynska River in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.

Andriy Yatskiv, head of the communications sector of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional police, reported this.

One of them, born in 1996, was found in the village of Stari Bohorodchany, and the other, born in 1987, was found on Naberezhna Street in Ivano-Frankivsk.
According to Andriy Yatskiv, head of the communications sector of the regional police, there were no signs of violent death on the bodies. All the circumstances of the deaths are being established. Rescuers, together with police officers, lifted the bodies from the water and sent them for forensic examination for further investigation.
Experts recommend following the following rules for water safety:
Avoid diving in unknown places;
Do not leave children unattended near water, and do not allow them to visit water bodies on their own;
Do not swim far and do not swim alone, especially if you are not confident in your abilities;
Do not enter the water while under the influence of alcohol;
Avoid approaching ships, boats, and boats passing nearby;
Make sure the water temperature is at least 17°C;
Limit the time spent in the water to 20 minutes, starting with 3-5 minutes and gradually increasing this time;
Follow storm warnings and do not go swimming during strong gusts of wind.
