This summer, four beautiful places for mass recreation will open in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, where everyone will find something for themselves. However, for those who want to take a refreshing dip in the water, you should pay attention to one of the tourist complexes where you can enjoy swimming. This exciting news was announced on the official Facebook page of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Holidays in Ivano-Frankivsk region: places and conditions
There are several places for recreation in this region, including:
City Lake on Hetman Mazepa Street in Ivano-Frankivsk
Tourist complex “Bukovel” in the village of Polyanytsia
City beach on the left bank of the Dniester River in Halych
A lake in the Ivan Franko City Park of Culture and Recreation in Kalush.
It is noted that swimming will not be available at these locations, but it will be possible to rent boats, catamarans, and other water equipment. However, unlike others, the swimming season will be available only on the lake in the Bukovel tourist complex.
When choosing a place for mass recreation, you should follow a few essential rules.
Make sure that the beach area is free of debris and stones and that the depth of the water in swimming areas meets the standards. Choose a place with a gently sloping shore, protected from the wind, and equipped with recreation areas and sunshades. Ensure that drinking water quality is high and that the beach owners comply with sanitary requirements. Waste containers should be placed away from the coastal zone. Use public restrooms and drinking water fountains if they are available on the beach. Follow the rules of personal hygiene: wash your hands before eating, use beach shoes, wash your feet after visiting the beach, and avoid swimming in prohibited areas. Pay attention to medical centers and rescue stations on the beach. These rules will help ensure safety and comfort while relaxing in the natural environment.
The day before, it became known that gardeners in the Ivano-Frankivsk region were warned about a possible invasion of Colorado potato beetles due to their successful wintering in 2024.
